Cooper is 3!

Cooper started his 3rd birthday celebration with cupcakes at school, on Thursday. He was very excited to "share" his cake with his friends.

This is Cooper's class singing Happy Birthday to him.

We had a fun birthday party for Cooper on Saturday. He woke up insisting he was 2 years old and not 3, but by the time the day ended he was ok with being 3. He was very tired by the end of the day and very disappointed to learn the next day, that birthdays only last one day.

Cooper and the kids eating their cake... Do you like my elmo creations? Perhaps, I should think about a cake decorating career... The girl on the left is Cara, Cooper's best playmate. She is normally more smiley. They both licked off the frosting and left the cake.

We can't post on the blog without any photos of baby Lucy. This is Lucy after Cooper has so graciously given her a few toys to play with.

Bula! Kula!

Here are a few photos from this weekend at the Kula Eco Park, in Fiji.
Lucy will be 7 months and Cooper will be 3 years old next week.

We didn't know why Cooper had such a strange smile until after this photo was taken when he pointed out the centipedes behind the big root. Luckily, he now knows not to touch centipedes.

Biausevu Waterfall

Last weekend we took a little hike with some friends through a village and to Biausevu Waterfall. Despite what the photos show, Lucy and I were there, too. We didn't venture into the waterfall or river, though.

As usual, Cooper made friends with everyone that would talk to him. We are headed to the beach this weekend so more photos to come...

Here are few photos of the kids over the last few weeks. Lucy is growing up so fast and is so close to sitting up. She rolls all over the floor, now. Cooper is loving school and is as busy as ever!

Lucy just loves loves loves Cooper! This week she has started to whimper when he leaves for school.

Lucy started to eat rice cereal last week. She is starting to get it figured out. Banana is coming this weekend!

Craziness

All kinds of craziness goes on in our house all the time. Here are a few photos...

Cooper recently started sleeping in a big boy bed. One morning I walked in his room and found him trying to put on every pair of underwear he has. You can see his pajamas and diaper in the background. This was a very serious project that I ended up having to help him with.

A very nice friend of ours gave Lucy this adorable swimsuit. Cooper felt the need to model it for us.

Lucy is getting to be such a big girl, herself. This was her first go at her exer-saucer. It only lasts a few minutes and then seems to be too much for her to handle.
